Also the west bank of the Nile where the sun set and where they burned dead bodies Ankh-Symbol of eternal life, Gods are always shown holding an Ankh Atef-A crown worn by Osiris. white crown represented upper Egypt and the red feathers rep[resented busrirs(Osiris's cut of the delta) Ba-Someones personality, it would leave the body after death and make its way to the underworld to be tested at the hall of judgement Crook & Flail-Symbols of royalty and power, Pharaohs and Gods were the only ones to wield these weapons, the crook and flail said to have magic power and protection These are just some of the symbols and images of power in Egypt. |
Food and Drink
Bread~The bread that the Egyptians ate is almost rough and cores because when their grinding the Wheat grains sand mixed in with the grains so the bread tasted gritty.
Drinks~The rich people of Egypt drank wine and every body else drank beer. Beer was made by half cooking barley leaves then the barley leaves were crumbled and mixed into water then let settle and then strained.
Plates~Rich people ate off of plates made of gold, silver, faience, and bronze and ate at a low table. people with low money ate off of weaved plates
Manners~Wash Your hands, Use your hands(didn't have silverware), Don't stair at your food, and Don't wast your food.

Holidays & and Special Days
One main holiday of Egypt are the demon days. The story behind the Demon Days is that the Sky god Nut and the earth god Geb had 5 kids(Osiris, Horis, Set, Isis, and Nepthis). Ra herd that they were having kids and forbid Nut from giving birth to her kids on any day on the calendar. so Nut gambled with the moon god Khonsu for 5 extra days that were not part of the Egyptian calendar. One day for one kid, The Demon Days. But when Ra found out he ordered the father of Nut, Shu(god of wind) to keep them apart, he kept nut to the ski and Geb to the earth never to see each other again.

- Great Sphinx~ It guards the tomb of khafre wording off any evil sprites that mean to harm the tomb\
- Luzor Temple~ Dedicated for a creater god called Amun often he was joined with the sun god Ra as Amun-Ra
- Temple Of Hathor~ Dedicated to Hathor/Isis wife and mother of Horus
